Project Implementation at Tenaris, Argentina

On the 2nd of February, Inogate started a new project implementation at Tenaris, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Tenaris is the leading supplier of tubes and related services for the world’s energy industry and certain other industrial applications.

With manufacturing facilities in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Romania, USA and Venezuela and a network of customer service centers in over 20 countries, Tenaris has an annual production capacity of 3.3 million tons of seamless, and 2.8 million tons of welded pipes, annual consolidated net sales in excess of US$9.0 billion and 23,500 employees worldwide

R&D is an essential part of Tenaris activities, having more than 200 scientists and engineers working on R&D full-time in their 4 R&D Centers in Argentina, Mexico, Japan and Italy. The R&D network develops in-house scientific advances in the fields of metallurgy, alloy design, corrosion resistant materials, computational mechanics, fracture mechanics, surface and coating chemistry, as well as technology for automotive components and mechanical pipe applications and full-scale testing of premium connections, line pipe and OCTG.

Our project implementation started as a pilot in Argentina’s R&D Center with the aim to scale-up to the other R&D Centers in short-term.
